The nice folks at #ScreenPit want to provide an opportunity for screenwriters to put their work out there on Twitter.
Since the pandemic forced us all inside to form this close-knit screenwriting community in March 2020, we've seen the power of social media, had wonderful opportunities to interact, and believe that Twitter could provide a chance for screenwriters to:
1. feel proactive in marketing their work
2. provide a platform for industry pros to peruse what is out there.
This industry is such a private club and here at #ScreenPit, we'd like to give everyone a fair chance to be seen even if you can't afford to pay to play.
As in anything, nothing is guaranteed but we feel that casting your net wide and making friends in the industry can only help you in the long run. Good luck!
#ScreenPit is founded and fueled by writers and creatives who volunteer their time
to help inspire and create mutually beneficial opportunities for screenwriters and studios.
Please note: None of the #ScreenPit organizers have any direct contact or influence in selection processes or outreach from industry pros
